KOBIC manages biological information from bioversity (http://bioversity.org), bioresource, and omics (including genomics, proteomics, expressomics, etc: http://omics.org). ~~ ~~KOBIC has 45 bioinformatics researchers and 5 administration staff. It has an over 100 terabyte storage space with more than 700 CPUs in various clusters and servers. It is conveniently located in Daejeon (Science Town), South Korea, and affiliated with KRIBB (Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology) which is the representative national center of bioscience and biotechnology of Korea.~~ ~~The main function of KOBIC is to be the national focal point of the Korean biological science and technology network.
