Korean genome

Korean genome refers to the first Korean human genome sequenced and publicized in 2008. The donor of the genome is Dr. Seong-Jin Kim who is the director of the Lee Gilya Cancer and Diabetes Institute in Korea. It was the second Asian genome sequenced.

The result of the analysis was published in May 26 2009 in Genome Research.
