<p style="MARGIN-TOP: 0.49cm; BACKGROUND: #ffffff; MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0.49cm; widows: 2; orphans: 2"><font face="Times New Roman, serif"><font style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt" size="2"><font face="Times New Roman, serif">After several unsuccessful efforts, KSBI finally launched its official journal, &ldquo;Bioinformatics and Biosystems,&rdquo; and published the first issue on Feb. 2006. As the name of the journal suggests, the journal aims to provide an international forum, both in print and on the web, for exchange of information in all areas of bioinformatics and related research areas on biosystems informed by the fusion character of biological sciences and information technology. Key objective is rapid exchange of information, and the journal accepts self-reviewed papers for that purpose. The scope of the journal covers the following topics;</font></font></font></p>

As of Nov. 2006, KSBI has published the three issues of the volume 1 so far, and will publish the fourth issue at the end of November 2006.</font></font></font></p>
