<p>PSI-BLAST는 [[NCBI]]에서 제공되는 웹툴로서 일반 [[BLAST]]의 기능에 [[motif]]나 profile의 비교기능을 추가한 프로그램이다. PSI-BLAST는 기본적인&nbsp;<br />BLAST검색을 수행한후 그 결과를 이용해 다시 [[multiple alignment]]를 수행하는 것이다. multiple alignment를 통해 position-specific score matrix를&nbsp;만들고&nbsp;<br />이 matrix를 이용해 다시 BLAST검색을 수행하게 된다.
