CoMFA (Comparative Molecular Field Analysis)  of    3D-QSAR

CoMFA를 기초로 하는 idea는 target property에서의 차이는 종종 tested molecules에서 형성된 non-covalent fields의 shape에서의 차이와 관계가 있다는 것이다.CoMFA의 molecular property는 steric (Lennard-Jones)과 electrostatic (Coulombic) fields 두 가지의 field 상에서 계산되어지고 이때  probe atom과 격자의 간격은 target molecule의 특성에 따라 조정이 가능하다. 또한 molecular spread sheet라는 table 상에서 모든 수행이 이루어져 초보자라 할지라도 이론적인 지식만 갖추고 있으면 쉽게 tool을 다룰 수 있다.
